To the editor: TARPS thanks all for a great Fall Festival

The Animal Rescue and Protection Society had a successful time at this year’s Chester Rotary Club’s Fall Festival on the Green and would like to express our appreciation.  Thank you to everyone who visited to our booth.

We are happy to report that quite a few of our cats found new, loving homes plus we raised a lot of money for the shelter. We are truly grateful for all the donations and support we received.  We say it a lot, but we absolutely could not continue to care for our wonderful cats and our shelter without the help we receive from all of you.

Thank you to all of the generous businesses and people who donated the prizes for our raffle: Martha Stevenson, Mountaintop Needlecrafts, Okemo Mountain Resort, Sugar Bob’s Finest Kind, Susan Kramer, Wit’s End Woolens, Marilyn Bresland, Linda Bushway, Linda Eckhardt, Kathy Fisher, Margaret Johnson, Carol Perley, Gail Stewart and Christy Velting.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, who donated crafts and baked goods, time and effort, to keep our booth running smoothly.

Finally, thank you and congratulations to the Rotary Club for hosting another great Fall Festival! We look forward to next year!
