Gov. Shumlin to speak at Springfield Rotary-Chamber meeting

ermont Gov. Peter Shumlin will be the guest speaker at the Springfield Rotary Club meeting at noon on Monday, Feb. 2.

This annual visit to Springfield by the governor of Vermont, coordinated by the Springfield Rotary and the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, offers the business community, community leaders and the public an opportunity to hear the governor’s outline for the state and ask questions.

The public is invited to attend the luncheon meeting, which starts at noon. The cost of the lunch is $15, cash or check. Reservations are necessary to attend, and can be made be made by calling the Springfield Chamber office at 802-885-2779. Please make reservations early so as to assure a seat.

The meeting will be held at the Nolin Murray Professional Center, 38 Pleasant St., Springfield, located next to Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.
