Chester celebrates 250 with displays, activities and food

Photographers Claudio Veliz, Karen Zuppinger and Shawn Cunningham spent Saturday and Sunday at the various events being held around Chester to mark the 250th anniversary of the town’s New York charter, the last one of three that the town was issued. Activities ranged from the Pinnacle to the Fairgrounds and from the Green to the Stone Village.

    Thanks Chester Telegraph for capturing the amazing series of events of that made up Chester 250. The smiles, waves, and excitement is what we all needed. There are more photos coming in from the Thurs/ Fri events as well as events on Sun. All in all, we have so much to celebrate! The next phase is to look at what is next. Can’t wait!
