Sept. 28: ‘Macbeth’ comes to the Barrette Center

macbethsliderWilliam Shakespeare’s Macbeth is on stage at the Barrette Center for the Arts at 74 Gates St. in White River Junction, Sept. 28 through Oct. 23.

A complimentary post-show reception with the cast follows the opening night performance on Saturday, Oct. 1. A 20-minute post-show conversation with the company follows the Oct. 4–22 performances.

Full of sound and fury, the modern, fast-paced staging reflects troubled times as it follows Lord and Lady Macbeth on their bloody path to the throne.

A companion event, “Shakespeare in the Making,” will be held in the Byrne Theater at the Barrette Center on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 3:30–4:30 p.m., led by the Macbeth creative team. This conversation is free and open to the public.

Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays. For tickets and information, call 802-296-7000 or visit www.northernstage.org. Tickets start at $15 for students. Regular adult ticket prices range $30–$55. Northern Stage launches a new Access for All $5 ticket program for qualifying patrons with this production.
