The Counterpoint chorus with Elizabeth Reid on violin will grace Weston’s historic and acoustically perfect Church on the Hill (Community Church).
Founded by legendary choral director and arranger Robert De Cormier in 2000, and based in Montpelier, Counterpoint is dedicated to performing choral chamber music and engaging with student musicians in Vermont and beyond.
The chorus is praised for its “clarity, skill” and “sophisticated musical expressiveness.”
Their repertory includes folksongs from around the world, African-American spirituals, sacred music of many traditions, and concert works by classical composers of the past and our own age.
Parking is available at the church and along the road and Village Green. This concert is sure to delight audiences young and old.
A handicap ramp will be available.
