Committee seeks donations to spruce up Chester

Planters

The Chester Beautification Committee seeks to gets planters placed around the town.

The recently formed Chester Beautification Committee, an all-volunteer organization under the auspices of the Chester Economic Development Corp., is seeking contributions to help purchase large planters to be filled with flowers and placed in key locations in the town center to show that Chester is a thriving and welcoming place to visit, shop and live. Other seasonal and long-term projects are in the works.

Businesses and residents are encouraged to make this project a reality by donating toward the purchase of a planter to be placed in public areas. The cost of each planted container is $85. Or you can purchase your own planter to place on your own property.
