Dance sing and celebrate at a dance party at Putney’s Next Stage

Next Stage Arts Project hosts Christine Ohlman and Rebel Montez for a rock ‘n’ soul concert dance party at the newly renovated Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill Road in Putney, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9.

There will be plenty of room for dancing on the theater’s new dance floor. Tickets are $18 in advance, general admission, or $20 at the door. Tickets are available at Turn It Up at 85 Main St., Brattleboro, or Offerings at 26 Kimball Hill in Putney. For more information www.nextstagearts.org.

Jan. 9: Phelps Barn hosts Cold Chocolate band

Cold Chocolate will be at Phelps Barn Pub at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. The pub is located at the Grafton Inn, 92 Main St. in Grafton.

The Boston bluegrass funk group plays original tunes on guitar, upright bass, percussion, and sings in three-part harmony.
