Feb. 10: Chili & Chamber music fundraiser for Bellows Falls band

Enjoy an evening of dinner and entertainment and raise funds for the BFUHS Band

Join the Bellows Falls Union High School Band for an evening of dinner and entertainment.

The Chili and Chamber Music Concert will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the Bellows Falls Opera House Lower Theater, 7 Square in Bellows Falls.

This fundraising event for the 2016 Performing Arts field trip to New York City features a dinner of chili, corn bread, rice, drinks and a dessert.

General admission is $15 for advanced purchase tickets or $20 at the door. Tickets at the door will be limited. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Contact Katy Emond for advanced purchase orders at katy.emond@wnesu.com.

Feb. 12: Open call to sculpture artists

Helen Day Art Center, 90 Pond St. in Stowe, invites artists to submit proposals for the 25th annual outdoor sculpture exhibition, Exposed, held throughout the town of Stowe.

Deadline for proposals is Friday, Feb. 12.

The exhibition runs from July 23 through Oct. 15. Sculptures will be installed on the Helen Day Art Center property, on Main Street, and along the 5-mile recreational path in the town of Stowe.
