May 2: Monthlong art exhibit kicks off in Saxtons River

Main Street Arts, 35 Main St. in Saxtons River, will display a multimedia exhibit of the art of Jeanette Staley and Verandah Porche from Monday, May 2 through Friday, June 10.

The exhibit can be viewed during business hours –in general 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. (But it’s best to call ahead at 802-869-2960.)

The exhibition is an exploration of traditional stories using Greek myths and the Bible to the Brothers Grimm as a source of inspiration and improvisation integrating text and the visual arts. Meet the artists at a reception from 5:30–7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5.
