Nov. 4: BMC benefit concert features pianist Shams

Brattleboro Music Center’s Music School hosts a benefit concert featuring Egyptian pianist Mohamed Shams to mark the 40th anniversary of its founding.

The concert is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St., Brattleboro. Tickets are $30 and $20, or $10 for those under 18. For tickets, contact the Brattleboro Music Center at 802-257-4523 or visit www.bmcvt.org.

Shams’ appearance is made possible by an anonymous donor who contacted the BMC in the aftermath of terrorist attacks in Europe. The hope was to organize an event to offer comfort and inspiration in these difficult times.
