Stone Hearth Inn hosts its 8th Annual Hot Dog Cook-Off to benefit the Chester-Andover Family Center and Chester-Andover youth athletics. The event features music, prizes and the famous Chester-Andover Family Center Silent Auction and Basket Raffle.

The best part, however, is the rivalry among the “hot dog “chefs. So far, 10 chefs have entered the competition and will be cooking “dogs” during the Cook-Off. Past attendees already know that these are not your average dogs. Chef participants get creative, many going beyond toppings and crafting actual “dogs” from scratch. This is a culinary extravaganza and the competition is fierce.

The price of admission entitles you to all the hotdogs you can eat and a chance to vote for your favorite dog. Last year, the Smith family won the “Best Dog in Show” with a gouda stuffed, bacon wrapped dog on a lightly toasted bun, topped with a fresh mango-pineapple salsa. Will they retain their title?

Admission is $20 for a family of four, $10 for adults and $5 for students.
