The Nature Museum presents children’s programs on the unique ecology and landscape of northern New England. Programs will be held in a shady area in the backyard of the Whiting Library and will last about 45 minutes.

Masks will be required. Blankets will be spread out several feet apart for families to sit together in their “bubble.”

The program will be streamed live on Whiting Library’s Facebook page for families who prefer to watch from the comfort of home.

Animals move in all kinds of ways. Walking, trotting, running, jumping, flying, swimming,  crawling and slithering. Animals can move in amazing ways. How do you move? Can you walk like a bear or fly like an eagle? We’ll take a look at animal tracks and much more to discover the different types of animals and their movement.

Registration is required (whitinglibrary3@gmail.com).
