Do all those plastic containers and bags really get recycled? Does clothing made from synthetic fibers biodegrade? Join expert Mary Ann Remolador for a town meeting-style talk and discussion about everything recycling.

With the desire to live a more sustainable lifestyle, and the Chinese recycling markets now closed to the United States, it is more important than ever to understand what does and does not get recycled and ends up in our landfills. Bring your questions.  Remolador is the assistant director of the Northeast Recycling Council Inc., and has been with NERC for the past 25 years. Her expertise is in glass recycling issues, sustainable business management, materials management, and green purchasing.

Remolador has a M.A. in International Administration from the School for International Training and a B.S. in Natural Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Refreshments provided.
