Learn to how to make a well-rounded balanced meal of perfect rice, delicious daal, and nutritious and tasty veggies in season. Lini’s teaching is informed by her Ayurvedic Nutrition Counseling degree and she has been teaching, catering and cooking Indian food locally for several years. Eat this meal with one another, and leave with recipes.  Lini will have Ayurvedic spices available for sale as well.

Lini Mazumdar is an Ayurvedic Nutrition Counselor and a Certified Herbalist.  She lives on Anjali Farm in South Londonderry, Vermont, where she grows and wild-crafts medicinal plants to make a line of herbal products called Lotus Moon Medicinals.  As an Indian chef, she cooks and sells healthy organic Indian tiffin meals, and caters Indian food for special events. She teaches Indian and Ayurvedic Cooking Classes, and Ayurvedic workshops throughout Southern Vermont.

Lini completed her Ayurvedic studies in New York City in 2012, and is a Certified Ayurvedic Nutritional Counselor. Her degree in Herbalism was awarded from the Southwestern School of Botanical Medicine in Arizona in 1998.  She has also earned a Master’s of Education (Ed.M.) in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University in 1988.
