The Nature Museum and Whiting Library announce that The Nature Museum’s Summer Unplugged series will be back for another year of programs. Join them Wednesdays at 1p.m. in the library for a different topic every week.

Raptors are amazing predators that soar, swoop, dive, and some are even silent. Learn what makes raptors unique, the differences between native raptor species, and why they are important to the environments that they live in, including our own! Participants will discover the world of raptors through pictures, hands-on items, biofacts, and other engaging activities that can give them a raptor’s perspective!

The family programs are recommended for children ages 4 and up and include time for making a relevant and fun craft.
