The Rev. Nancy J. Crumbine

The First Universalist Parish of Chester welcomes the Rev. Nancy Crumbine, who who will speak on Rising from the Past, thoughts on simple spiritual practices that pull us from the ever seductive past into the healing light of the present.

Crumbine teachers at Dartmouth College, lectures for the Vermont Humanities Council and Unitarian Universalist conferences both in the United States and United Kingdom, and is the author of articles, poems and a book titled Humility, Anger and Grace.

The choir will sing Who Has Seen the Wind?  A brunch is planned in place of coffee hour today.

About the Author: Cynthia Prairie has been a newspaper editor more than 30 years. She has worked at such publications as the Raleigh Times, the Baltimore News American, the Buffalo Courier Express, the Chicago Sun-Times and the Patuxent Publishing chain of community newspapers in Maryland.
