The Meadows Brothers to take the stage at Blues Fest.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., the third Annual Black River Folk & Blues Fest will bring folk-and-blues-based musical acts and talented musicians to the stage at the Ludlow Town Hall auditorium at 37 Depot St. in Ludlow.

Hosted by the local, non-profit community group Friends of Ludlow Auditorium, the music fest has lined up three New England-based musical groups for its third annual event.

The groups at this year’s event are The Meadows Brothers, The Lonesome Brothers and The Becca Byram Band (with Tim Griffin and Michael Oakland).

Tickets purchased on or before Oct. 7 are $20. After that, all tickets are $25 each. Tickets for the event are available online at www.fola.us and in Ludlow at People’s United Bank, the Book Nook, and the Wine and Cheese Depot. A $2 handling and mailing fee is added to each order.
