State to auction surplus heavy equipment, vehicles May 10

The Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services will be auctioning an assortment of state vehicles and equipment, rain or shine, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 at the Agency of Transportation Central Garage, 1756 US Route 302, Berlin.

Auction registration and vehicle previews will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, May 9 and from 8 a.m. until finished on May 10.

Dump trucks, plow trucks, pick-up trucks, vans, fleet passenger vehicles, boats, ATVs, snow machines, trailers, mowers and trimmers, golf carts, tools, tires, miscellaneous parts and more will be sold to the highest bidder with no reserves.

A sales booth set up from 8 to 10 a.m. for surplus “airport sharps” which include hand tools, hunting knives, pocketknives, pocket tools and corkscrews.
