GM grad Kuniko Hunter accepted to study in Denmark

Kuniko C. Hunter of Chester, Vt., has been accepted as a design student by the Danmarks Tekniske Universitet
(DTU – The Technical University of Denmark in Kongens Lyngby). Hunter, a (junior by cohort) senior dual majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Design, Society and Innovation Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will be attending DTU in the fall of 2014 to take part in a full semester of design studios as partial fulfillment of her Rensselaer DSIS degree requirements.

Hunter, a 2011 graduate of Green Mountain Union High School and a former president of the Chester Interact Club, is the president of the Rensselaer chapter of the Society of Biomedical Engineers and is active in the Society of Women Engineers and Engineers without Borders.

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet is the oldest technical research university in the world.
