Castleton University congratulates the graduates from the class of December 2022. The following students recently graduated from Castleton University and will be recognized during the 236th Commencement.

  • Noah Distefano of West Townshend;
  • Kristina Galimi of Ludlow and
  • Bhavin Patel of Ludlow

Elyse Carola Donaghue of Andover, a freshman majoring in engineering studies, was named a Presidential Scholar for the fall 2022 semester at Clarkson University located in Potsdam, N.Y.  Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.


Gwendylan Kekic of Chester has earned a place on the President’s List at Dean’s College in Franklin, Mass., for the fall 2022 semester.  To make the college’s President’s List, a full-time student must obtain a GP of 4.0 for the semester.

The University of Rhode Island in Kingston announces its fall 2022 Dean’s List.   They include:

Emma Kirdzik of Ludlow and

Gillian Guy of Springfield.

To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.


Timothy Amsden of Springfield, who is working toward a BSBA in Finance, has been named to Dean’s List of Western New England University in Springfield, Mass., for the fall 2022 semester. Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Ithaca College of Ithaca, N.Y., has named the following students to its Dean’s List for the fall 2022 semester.

  • Eva Svec of Chester and
  • Ariana Wunderle of Chester

Tamara Kinsman of North Springfield has qualified for the fall 2022 Dean’s List at Chadron State College is Chadron, Neb. To qualify, a student must earn at a 3.5 grade point average, be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework, be seeking their first bachelor’s degree and have no incomplete grades during the semester.
