Call for local artists for annual Derry Arts & Historical Society show

The Londonderry Arts and Historical Society announces it annual Local Artist Show at the Custer Sharp House, 2461 Middletown Road in Londonderry.

This year’s show will be opened up to crafters of all crafts including jewelry artists and potters, needlework, cards and matted prints.

The show opens on Saturday., Sept. 5, with a grand opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.

LAHS is looking for artists who of all types. Please bring framed art, or other types of art, ready to display or hang, preferably with wire on the back, if possible. Put the name of your piece, medium used and your name, address, phone number and email address on the back of your piece. Crafters may bring a rack or something to use for display.

The requirement is 30-inch by 30-inch maximum size. Works will be received on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22. And pick up will be during the week following closing.
