Rock out with WOOL Radio’s annual block part

WOOL-FM/Black Sheep Radio presents its premier summer event, WOOLstock: The 2026 Block Party, from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Waypoint Center in Bellows Falls, for hours of live music, food, and community festivities. Gates open at 1 p.m.
General admission is $20; Children under 12 admitted for free. Discount advance tickets are available online at WOOL.fm .
This year’s block party marks 21 years of member-owned, volunteer-run, non-commercial community radio in the region. WOOL is pleased to celebrate and announce that itsnew transmitter is now in service. Thank to all who supported WOOL-FM in reaching this milestone.
WOOLstock 2026 boasts an exciting multi-genre music lineup featuring four exceptional regional bands, with WOOL DJs spinning tracks between sets to keep the energy going all day long. The bands are:
- Manmade Tragedies
- The Milkhouse Heaters
- Chodus
- Rustie Bus
Attendees can enjoy food provided all day by Smokin’ Bowls, alongside a cash bar hosted by Bellows Falls’ own 7 Balls Brewing, serving beer, cider, soft drinks, water and other items. The event also features a family-friendly outdoor atmosphere, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and the chance to meet your neighbors and local volunteer radio hosts who bring Black Sheep Radio to life every day.
Celebrating 21 years of independent, volunteer-driven radio is a testament to the incredible listeners and supporters across the region.
Event policies
- Weather: WOOLstock is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be issued due to weather.
- Beverages: No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the gate. Beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options will be available for purchase.
- Pets: No pets are permitted inside the gated event area.
WOOL-FM is actively seeking event volunteers, co-sponsors, and local business underwriters to help support the festival and sustain community radio. Interested parties can reach out directly via email at feedback@blacksheepradio.org.
