St. Luke’s to celebrate new rector

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Chester will host a Celebration of New Ministry at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 when Bishop Tom Ely will formally institute the Rev. Heidi L. Edson as St. Luke’s new rector. A reception will follow in Willard Hall. Members of the Chester and surrounding communities — families and children alike —  are invited and will be welcomed.
