Celebration of David Hume’s life set for Sept. 26

David Hume, a former IBM executive, became cattle rancher in Andover.

The public is invited to join the Andover Project Committee in celebrating the life of David Hume from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at the Andover Town Hall, 953 Weston-Andover Road in Andover, Vt.

Mr. Hume, who died at the end of June, served the town of Andover with dedication for many years, and was a catalyst for a number of important initiatives, including the renovation of the Town Hall and the conservation of open spaces.

Jon Bliss will lead an informal reflection on Mr. Hume’s life in Andover, joined by representatives of the many causes he championed throughout the region.
