Learn about myofascial release for pain control

On Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m., at the Meeting Place at Neighborhood Connections, 5700 Vermont-100 in Londonderry, Kami Golembeski (OTR/L), from Green Mountain Myofascial Release in Manchester, will detail how this hands-on procedure may possibly help you handle your chronic pain.

Myofascial release is a whole body, manual approach to healing addressing restrictions within the connective tissue. The technique involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue to eliminate pain and restore motion.

There is no charge to attend, but space is limited: call 802-824-4343 to register.

Neighborhood Connections is a community-based non-profit social services agency serving individuals and families in the area mountain towns of south-central Vermont. Check out its website at www.neighborhoodconnections.org.
