Foodbank Mobile Pantry to drop off in Springfield

On the second Friday of every month, the Vermont Foodbank “Veggie VanGo” Mobile Food Pantry will be at the Springfield Hospital Meeting House, on the hill opposite the hospital on Ridgewood Road, to distribute food for those who need it.

Its next visit is from 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 8.

Veggie Van GoThe Foodbank Mobile Food Pantry’s partnership with hospitals throughout the state aims to provide fresh food to families in need of food assistance.

• The Foodbank will provide fresh produce and healthy snacks on a consistent basis to this health care site.

• Food from the Vermont Foodbank is meant for personal use only. Please take what you need for your household.

The VT Foodbank Mobile Pantry is open to anyone in need of food, no questions asked.
