To the editor: Send Reed to Montpelier to represent us

Letters to the editor logoI am writing in support of candidate Melody Reed for Vermont state representative, serving the communities of Andover, Baltimore, Chester and North Springfield.

Melody has been a friend of mine for several years and I am thrilled she wants to be our representative in Montpelier next term. She is a hard-working, genuine person — just what we need. I have seen her accomplish difficult tasks with great results, bringing together groups of people with diverse ideas to get the job done. Melody takes action to better the environment (maybe you’ve seen her campaigning from her Prius!) and advance issues that affect women and families.

She is an 8th generation Vermonter, has raised her family here, and thus knows what challenges families and women in our area face. Melody deeply lives her values, and she does so with finesse and positivity.

Please consider Melody Reed for state representative and remember to vote in the primary on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Absentee ballots are available and early voting is possible at the town office.

Sincerely,
Jill Bruning
Chester
