Road Conditions Update

The Vermont State Police have issued the following:

CURRENT ROADS STATUS 9:45 AM – WEATHER RELATED DELAYS AND BLOCKAGES

Please DO NOT CALL 911/DISPATCH for traffic conditions

Keep 911 clear for emergencies

• UPDATE 10 a.m.  Traffic is moving on Interstate 89 between exits 7 and 8, and the exit 8 off-ramp has been reopened.  There is a significant back-up of traffic which will take time to clear.

• Route 2 area through Marshfield backed up due to traffic congestion.

• UPDATE 10:06 a.m. The northbound lane of Interstate 91 in the Sheffield Heights area is moving, please drive carefully as backed up traffic takes time to clear.

• Route 4 in Bridgewater closed due to crash.

• Multiple traffic incidents and crashes have been reported across the state that are not significantly affecting traffic.  Please drive safe and appropriately for conditions, and seek alternate routes if possible.
