Rustie Bus closes out Chester Summer Music Series on Thursday

The annual Chester Summer Music Series closes out of Thursday with fan favorite Rustie Bus from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Academy Building Lawn in downtown Chester.  Bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic dinner and enjoy the show.

Rain venue is Upstairs at Town Hall, 556 Elm St.

Rustie Bus is heavily influenced by the bands of the 1970s, when things were groovy and cool man and tie dye was high style. Love the Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty,  Wings and the Allman Brothers? Expect them and more as well as a smattering of original songs.

They’ve been making a name for themselves around the state and locally in venues such as The Country Girl Diner in Chester, The New American Grill in Londonderry and Off the Rails in Ludlow.

The band includes Shrewsbury’s own Marcos Levy on keyboard; Eric King on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Erik Werner on bass and vocals; Jamie Snook playing lead guitar and vocals; Ross Vumbaco on drums and Zach Trepanier on sax.
