FOLA seeks new board members to continue community mission
Press release | Sep 15, 2026 | Comments 0
Since its founding in 2009, FOLA has worked to make the Ludlow Auditorium a vibrant gathering place for residents, visitors, and organizations throughout the region. The organization’s mission is to promote and facilitate the use of the auditorium for the benefit of the community.
Over the years, FOLA has sponsored and supported a wide variety of programs, including: movies and film series, live music, theatrical presentations, the FOLA Follies, community Christmas celebrations, community forums and civic events and programs for young people.
For example, this coming October FOLA will present a candidate forum featuring local candidates for November’s election, a live jazz program, and classical music from a woodwind quartet from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
FOLA has also helped fund improvements to the auditorium’s seating, projection, audio and electronic systems, backstage facilities and other technical equipment, making it a more useful venue for the entire community.
FOLA is looking for people who are interested in the arts, entertainment, community events and the future of Ludlow. Board members can contribute in many different ways — from helping select and develop programs, to advertising and publicity, fundraising, event planning and operations, technical support, community outreach and building partnerships with local organizations.
Anyone interested in learning more about the FOLA Board is encouraged to email info@fola.us or call 802-228-3238.
