To the editor: Will Hoser has what it takes to represent Windsor-Windham

I am writing in support of Will Hoser as a candidate for the Vermont legislature, representing the Windsor-Windham District.  I have known and worked with Will for over 30 years. In that time,W I have been impressed with his ability to listen, his compassion, and his empathy while providing care to his patients in the Emergency Department.

Beyond his hands on practice he has given his time to greater issues that involve health care in Vermont. He was the chair of the Vermont Board of Medical Practice, the governing body that oversees physician and PA practice in the state. He has also been involved on the national front developing credentialing guidelines for physicians and PAs. His first-hand experience as an ED provider and more broadly as a regulator give him an unprecedented vision of what health care is in Vermont but more importantly where it should be going.

His passion for making Vermont a better place to live goes beyond health care. A long time resident of Chester, he has also been a business owner and is very aware of the current problems Vermont is experiencing in attracting new businesses and the related housing crisis.

In short, Will is the type of person I want in Montpelier. Experienced, clear-headed, knowledgeable, energetic and compassionate. I strongly endorse Will for the Vermont legislature.
