Candidates, jazz and classical music to grace Ludlow Auditorium in October

The Friends of Ludlow Auditorium will be holding three special events in October at the Ludlow Auditorium in Town Hall,  37 S. Depot St.

First up is FOLA’s annual candidates forum, to be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15.  The forum will present the candidates seeking the Windsor County Senate seats in Montpelier, along with the local candidates seeking the House seat from the area.  The event will be led by a moderator who will address questions to the panel.

Then at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, the Enerjazz Orchestra of Rutland will return to perform jazz and popular music.  Be sure to bring your dancing shoes because their music is made for dancing.

And finally at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, the Woodwind Quartet of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra will perform with a variety of classical music pieces.

All of these events are free; donations are appreciated to help FOLA continue presenting future events. For information on these events, call 802-855-8896.
