Ludlow Rotary Duck Race raises $3,050 for Plymouth Fire & EMS

The check was presented to Plymouth Fire Chief Jim Allen and Town Clerk Angela Kissell, recognizing the successful partnership between the Ludlow Rotary Club and Plymouth Fire & EMS in making this year’s event a tremendous success.
This year’s Duck Race reached an exciting milestone, with the combined efforts of Rotary and Plymouth resulting in the sale of all 1,000 ducks — a record for the club.
The annual Ralph D. Hogancamp Memorial Duck Race has become a much-loved summer tradition, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun while raising funds that benefit local organizations and services.
The Ludlow Rotary Club extends a sincere thank you to Plymouth Fire & EMS, everyone who purchased a duck, the volunteers who helped with the event and the community for its continued support.
Selling 1,000 ducks was truly a team effort, and the results demonstrate what can be accomplished when local organizations and community members work together.
The Ludlow Rotary Club is celebrating its 100th year of community service, serving Ludlow, Plymouth, Cavendish and Mount Holly, supporting local organizations, community projects, scholarships and other initiatives that make a difference throughout the region.
