Free ‘Hands-Only’ CPR class offered in Londonderry on Nov. 6

Seventy percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in the home. Statistically speaking, if you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love: a spouse, a parent, a child or a friend.

At noon on Friday, Nov. 6, Neighborhood Connections is bringing to the community an opportunity to learn about and practice Hands-Only CPR. This method is effective and can significantly increase the chances of survival for the victim, especially in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest. It is simple to learn and can be performed by anyone, even without formal CPR training.

The session will be held in Neighborhood Connections’ new Activity Center, across from its offices at 5700 Rte 100, in Londonderry. The one-hour session is free and will be followed with light refreshments.

For more information or to RSVP,  call Neighborhood Connections at 802-824-4343 to reserve a spot. We will be offering lunch and need a headcount.
